Big Stage Theatre School specialises in drama for young people; we believe that drama is an excellent way for children to learn social, communication, and literary skills. At Big Stage we believe in the importance of performance. Young people have the opportunity to perform on stage, take part in productions, devise their own work, and participate in festivals.

Drama skills are integral in all walks of life, the confidence building, the audio, the visual skills and the all important imagination. Learning to speak out loudly is something we all wish we could do.

Big Stage provides a safe environment. Through improvisation and scripted pieces the youngsters will learn to listen both to instruction and each other. Working alongside other children, their social skills improve and, by the time of their first performance, their confidence has grown and is there for all to see.

Whatever they choose to do in later life, the experience they gain at Big Stage will always be there to help them through.
